Ranbir Kapoor, always had a predictable pairing in most of his movies, and starred alongside Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Now before the audience gets bored by the same pairing in every movie, Imtiaz Ali, has decided to rope in his main man, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for his next.
Imtiaz Ali, is now the only saving grace for Ranbir Kapoor, and has provided another opportunity after Tamasha. The Ranbir-Alia starrer would be a superhero movie, but the project has not been finalized yet.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, had successful movies through Imtiaz Ali's directorial. The director, casted Alia Bhatt in the movie Highway, and Ranbir Kapoor in, Rockstar and Tamasha.
Imtiaz Ali, had casted Deepika Padukone in Love Aaj Kal and Tamasha. However, the movie Rockstar, saw Nargis Fakhri as the lead actress.
Ranbir Kapoor, had a disastrous year in 2015, and all his movies flopped at the box office. Movies such as Roy and Bombay Velvet were a total disappointment. Ranbir's latest Tamasha, starring alongside Deepika Padukone did moderately well at the box office, but fizzled out after a week of its release to Hate Story 3.
If the same disastrous performance continues even in 2016, Ranbir Kapoor's career might go for a sever toss. Ranbir's first flop started in 2013, through the movie Besharam. Trade Analyst Tarun Adarsh, gave the movie 1.5 stars our of 5 and tweeted as, "All that glitters is not gold".
However, despite Tamasha doing moderately well at the box office, it is reported that Ranbir Kapoor took home a whopping 38 Crores, to star in the movie.
We hope Imtiaz Ali's next starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, would be a successful film and may Ranbir get back on track and deliver super-hit movies. The actor, is very talented and we wish to see him flourish.
Alia Bhatt, had previously worked with Imtiaz Ali for the movie Highway. The film, was a super-hit at the box office.
Alia Bhatt, is currently shooing for her upcoming flick titled, Udta Punjab. The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.

After Shaandaar, Alia Bhatt would surely make a comeback through Udta Punjab and Imtiaz Ali's next starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
