We all know that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are in a live-in relationship. But rumour has it that, the couple are on the verge of a break up and reportedly, it is because of Ranbir's closeness with Deepika Padukone during the promotions of their film Tamasha.

Talking about the same, a source told 9xe, "It is not working out between them. They have had differences ever since Ranbir went on a major publicity drive with Deepika Padukone for Tamasha."

The source further added, ''Currently, Ranbir is shooting for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London. His mum, Neetu Singh Kapoor, is also with him in London. It's no secret that she had never approved of Katrina and was extremely upset when he moved in with his girlfriend to a Bandra apartment across the road from his parents' residence.''

In a recent interview to a magazine, Katrina also hinted that when she will get married, Ranbir Kapoor might not love her completely, '' My greatest fear is that if and when I get married and I am standing at the altar or the mandap, he (Ranbir) may not love me completely. That he may not know his mind well enough to be making those commitments. The anticipation of heartbreak is my only fear. Cheaters will cheat anywhere. The back of my head wants to believe that I am (in a secure relationship). But the front of my head says be careful.''

However, When Ranbir Kapoor was asked about marrying Katrina Kaif in the past, he had said, ''This year both of us are extremely busy, so there won't be any time for the marriage. We have planned to tie the knot by the end of next year. Both of us have agreed on that."
