Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth have done movies during their early Bollywood career but over the period, both got busy with their respective films in different film industries.
While Amitabh became a big name in Bollywood, Rajinikanth went on to rule Tamil cinema. Both these megastars of our country have given many iconic films to the viewers and now, the time has come for the duo to take it up a notch and give the Indian cinema the biggest blockbuster ever.
Robot directed by Shankar, starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles became like a cult cinema with the kind of technology they used in the film and how can we forget the visual effects, the story?
Thereportertimes.com shared the news that Shankar has got Amitabh Bachchan to star along with Rajinikanth and very soon, an official announcement will be made as well.
With such an interesting casting coup by director Shankar, we are pretty sure that Robot 2 just like it's prequel will get both critical acclaim and mint money at the Box Office.
On the professional front, Amitabh has finished shooting for Wazir that also stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead role and is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Rajinikanth too is busy with a project currently, Kabali that is being directed by Pa. Ranjith.
