It's a known fact that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif dated each other for a long time before calling it quits. However, they both chose to remain friends even after their break up. According to the recent reports, Salman gave a royal ignore to Ranbir while talking to Katrina at a Diwali party.

Talking about the same, a source told a leading daily, "Last week we saw many Bollywood celebs celebrating Diwali at various parties hosted by different actors and producers.During Sonam Kapoor's Diwali party, Salman Khan entered while Katrina and Ranbir were still around.''

The source further added, ''He even went up to her and comfortably spoke to her for a long time, while ignoring her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor throughout the party."

Not only Salman Khan, even Katrina Kaif is very close to Salman and his family. The actress in a recent interview told to a leading daily,''Salman has been an extremely important part of my life and in my process in films. He, his parents and sisters are very good friends of mine. They are amazing people. They are the most respectful people I have ever met. He (Salman) is an amazing person. Without him my journey could have been difficult.''
