Salman
Khan
has
always
been
known
as
a
benevolent
person
and
apparently,
the
actor
has
shown
his
kind
side
again.
It
has
been
reported
that
Salman
Khan
has
refused
to
take
any
fee
for
Prem
Ratan
Dhan
Payo
and
the
deed
is
apparently
to
help
the
makers
of
the
film
to
earn
some
profit
at
the
Box
Office.
Salman
Khan
has
a
500
crore
agreement
with
Star
India
by
which
the
channel
holds
the
rights
to
exclusively
screen
all
Salman
films.
As
a
result,
Sooraj
Barjatya
and
the
producers
of
Prem
Ratan
Dhan
Payo
had
to
offer
the
satellite
rights
of
the
film
to
Star
India
at
a
minimal
price.
Thus,
Salman
Khan
decides
to
waive
off
his
fee
as
an
compensation
to
the
low
profit
from
the
sale
of
satellite
rights.
One
source
has
been
quoted
as
saying
that
Salman
Khan
and
Sooraj
Barjatya
were
reuniting
after
a
gap
of
15
years
and
so
Salman
did
not
want
that
the
deal
would
create
any
hurdle
for
the
makers
of
the
film.
The
source
further
stated
that
realising
the
profit
that
the
makers
of
Prem
Ratan
Dhan
Payo
could
have
made
from
the
satellite
rights
if
there
was
no
such
deal,
Salman
decided
not
to
charge
a
single
penny.
Prem
Ratan
Dhan
Payo
features
Sonam
Kapoor
along
with
Salman
Khan
and
is
set
to
release
on
November
11th.
