Katrina Kaif made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 but she will not attend the prestigious film festival this year, thanks to Ranbir Kapoor and his film Jagga Jasoos.

According to the recent reports, Katrina Kaif has given all her dates for the shooting of Jagga Jasoos and Cannes Film Festival is clashing with them. So, the diva has chosen to miss the film festival, this year.

A source revealed all the internal details to Bollywood Life, "Katrina has currently given all her dates to Jagga Jasoos. And the festival date is clashing with the Morocco schedule of Jagga. When Kat was made aware that both the dates of Cannes and Jagga Jasoos schedule are clashing, she chose to skip the festival.''

The source further added, ''As the makers are keen to finish the film ASAP and release it in July so she prioritised the film. Anyways the film has been getting delayed for a long time now and Katrina didn't want any further delays so she chose to skip Cannes".

On the professional front, Katrina Kaif recently wrapped up the shooting of Nitya Mehra's Baar Baar Dekho with the very handsome actor, Sidharth Malhotra. The first look of the film was released recently and it has received a positive response from her fans.

She was last seen in Fitoor opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor. The movie failed to make any mark at the Indian box office.
