Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot last year in July. On Feb 25th Shahid Kapoor will celebrate his 35th birthday and his darling wife Mira is planning a surprise for him.

According to a report in Mid Day, ''As it is Shahid Kapoor's first birthday after marriage, wife Mira is planning a surprise for him. Apart from his family members, his close pals from the industry will be in attendance.''

Shahid Kapoor surprised everyone when he announced that he is marrying Mira Rajput, who has no Bollywood connection. Shahid and his father Pankaj Kapoor are ardent followers of the religious group called as Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Shahid met Meera through this group.

Now, Shahid Kapoor is head over heels in love with Mira Rajput. When a leading daily asked Shahid to tell the best thing about his wife, he said, ''Mira and I communicate very well. That's one of the strongest qualities about us.''

Shahid Kapoor further added, ''They always say, "Be with someone who helps you become a better person.'' She makes me want to be a better person. And that shows that she is a really good person.''

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have been married for seven months now, and according to recent reports Shahid and Mira are expecting their first child. Though there hasn't been any official confirmation from the couple, rumour has it that Mira is expecting. And that is why Shahid Kapoor 35th birthday would be extra special as Mira Rajput has given him the best gift of his life!
