Film-maker Zoya Akhtar was planning to make a film with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh but rumour has it Ranbir has said no to the film as he does not want to play second fiddle to Ranveer Singh.

According to the recent reports, Ranveer Singh has already signed Zoya Akhtar's next project and Alia Bhatt too, has been approached for the movie to play the female lead. Reportedly, Alia has said 'Yes' to Zoya and will soon sign the movie. But Ranbir is not interested in the film as he wants to work in a solo hero project.

Talking about the same, Spotboye.com recently revealed that Ranbir Kapoor had met Zoya at her Bandra home with Farhan Akhtar and Kiran Rao around, where she discussed the project with him- but the latest coming in is that he has eventually turned it down. Apparently, he wasn't keen on playing second fiddle to Ranveer.

Varun Dhawan too, was approached but he has opted out of the film citing 'no dates'.

Recently when Ranveer Singh was asked to comment about his upcoming projects, he said "Whatever projects I have been discussing nothing has been finalised yet! As of now I am doing Aditya Chopra's Befikre and I am very happy that it is shaping out to be really good.''

Rumours are rife that Ranveer Singh is also working in Rohit Shetty's next. "Rohit Shetty is an awesome director. He is the king of mainstream masala films. I would love to collaborate with him,'' the handsome actor said.
