According to a report in Bollywood Life, ''Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan has now been added to the running of SOTY sequel. He's about 15years old and turns out Saif is all ready to launch him into Bollywood. Also for the fact that KJo had recently revealed that he wouldn't be launching Aryan so soon as he needs to focus on his studies, Ibrahim fits in well.''

Director-producer Karan Johar, recently cleared speculations surrounding the debut of SRK's son Aryan Khan with the movie. When asked if he is launching Aryan Khan in Student Of The Year 2, Karan said, "No. Aryan has to study now for the next five years and then he will decide if he wants to get into films.''

He added, ''I am his god parent and I will hope for the best but that is much later. AbRam is turning three next month. So, I will launch him after 20 years. And that is only after launching Aryan."

Student Of The Year, which released in 2012, marked the debut of actors Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. The film also featured veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, Sana Saeed, Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor and Farida Jalal in pivotal roles.
