Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali
is
making
headlines
these
days
because
of
Padmavati.
The
famous
director
faced
many
protests
during
the
release
of
his
film
Bajirao
Mastani.
But
with
Padmavati,
he
does
not
want
to
take
any
chances
and
is
doing
hard-core
research
for
his
magnum
opus.
Talking
about
Padmavati,
a
source
told
Indian
Express,
"With
Padmavati,
the
period
that
would
be
tracked
is
the
late
13th
and
14th
century.
Unlike
Bajirao,
this
one
is
set
in
an
even
older
era.
Bhansali
and
his
team
are
eyeing
every
minute
detail
of
the
era,
the
Khilji
dynasty
and
the
culture
of
Mewar
from
where
Rani
Padmavati
belonged.''
The
source
further
added,
"They
want
to
avoid
any
unneeded
confrontation
as
it
happened
during
Bajirao
Mastani
when
certain
clan
members
stood
up
in
arms
against
the
portrayal
of
Bajirao.''
The
report
also
stated
that
the
work
related
to
the
movie
is
in
full
swing
and
from
the
past
two
weeks
workers
have
been
toiling
hard
to
make
a
huge
palace
set
for
the
movie
at
the
Mehboob
studio.
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali
does
not
want
to
delay
the
movie
and
would
start
the
shooting
of
Padmavati
in
September.
Reportedly,
Padmavati
will
star
Deepika
Padukone,
Ranveer
Singh
and
Shahid
Kapoor.
