End Of The Cold War? Shahrukh Khan Made A Call To Hrithik Roshan; Read Why

We are all aware of the cold war that was going on between Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. They both were good friends once but the box office clash between Kaabil and Raees created a crack in their friendship. However, according to recent reports, Shahrukh made a special call to Hrithik after watching the trailer of Kaabil.

Not just that, a source told a leading web portal that Shahrukh Khan praised Hrithik Roshan a lot and told him that he is very impressed with the trailer. Read more about it below.

Shahrukh Super Impressed With Kaabil's Trailer

Talking about the call, the source said, ''Shahrukh Khan watched the Kaabil trailer and he called Hrithik . He was super impressed with the trailer and loved Hrithik in it.''

Shahrukh Was Waiting For Kaabil's Trailer

The source further added, ''Also Shahrukh was waiting for the trailer and he is just stunned with it." Reports also say that the actor feels that both the films have different concepts and audiences will watch both the movies.

Shahrukh Tried To Avoid The Big Clash

It is said Shahrukh Khan tried very hard to avoid the big clash between Raees and Kaabil but failed to convince the producers of Kaabil.

When Hrithik Roshan was asked about his views on Raaes Vs Kaabil's clash at a promotional event, he had said, ''Let the producers decide, I am an actor".

Rakesh Roshan Had Announced The Date First

Even Rakesh Roshan had told a web portal that he was the one who announced the date of Kaabil first and not SRK, "I had announced the date for Kaabil earlier. If they are coming on the same date, then I can't do anything about it."

In July, Shahrukh had visited Hrithik's house to meet his father, producer Rakesh Roshan, to discuss the clash and somehow resolve it. He tweeted about the meeting without mentioning Kaabil and Raees. "Met friend/mentor/family after many a days. Mr. R.Roshan reminded me...it's not important to do 2 much, it's important to get 1 right. Thx sir.''

SRK had even said to the media, "We have spoken to Hrithik and also Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (producers of Raees). I guess now we can do some adjustments. Rakeshji (Kaabil producer Rakesh Roshan) and Ritesh and Farhan will be meeting again. We are trying to figure things out, so we don't have a clash."

But nothing worked in Shahrukh Khan's favour and after some time, Kaabil's director Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter and announced, "My film will release on Republic Day weekend as planned.''
