According
to
a
report
in
Bollywood
Life,
''After
Shahrukh
Khan
and
Kajol,
it's
Varun
Dhawan
who
is
unhappy
with
the
way
his
character
was
shown
in
the
film.
Varun
Dhawan
is
not
thrilled
with
how
his
role
turned
out
in
Dilwale.''

Apart
from
Shahrukh

and

Dilwale
also
starred
Varun

in

''The
actor
feels
he
was
merely
'padding' to
the
central
plot
that
revolved
around
Shahrukh
and
Kajol.
In
the
same
year
that
he
delivered
big
hits
with
Badlapur
and
ABCD2,
Varun
apparently
feels
slighted
at
having
being
reduced
to
the
comic
sidekick
in
a
Shahrukh
Khan
vehicle,''
the
report
stated.
Rumour
has
it,
Kajol
too
is
not
very
happy
with
her
decision
of
doing
Dilwale.
Kajol
thinks
that
she
made
a
huge
mistake
when
she
chose
Rohit
Shetty's
comedy
over
Sujoy
Ghosh's
next,
which
is
slated
to
be
feature
a
strong
female
protagonist.
Even
Shahrukh
Khan
in
one
of
his
interviews
confessed
that
he
was
disappointed
to
see
the
collections
of
Dilwale,
''I
don't
think
the
film
has
done
as
well
as
it
should
have.
I
am
personally
disappointed
with
that."
Adding
to
this
the
actor
said,
"To
be
honest,
it
has
perhaps
not
done
as
well
in
India
as
I
would
like
it
to
do.
But
overseas
it
has
done
very
well
in
a
lot
of
countries
like
Germany,
Austria.
It
is
quite
thrilling
that
Indian
films
are
reaching
far
and
wide.
There
is
a
lot
of
business
opportunities."
