A few days ago, reports were doing the rounds that Shahrukh Khan had rejected Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period film which also starred Kangana Ranaut.
Now, a recent report in the Deccan Chronicle states that Kangana Ranaut was offered the lead role with Shahrukh Khan in Aanand L. Rai's film. Keep reading to find out more.
Kangana Declined The Film Opposite Shahrukh
''Director Aanand L. Rai had offered his blue-eyed girl Kangana Ranaut the lead role opposite Shahrukh Khan in his next project, but the actress declined the offer.''
What She Told The Director
She reportedly told Aanand, "If I do another film with you, the role would have to be as solid as the one in Tanu Weds Manu."
Kangana Was Also Offered Dangal & Sultan
Kangana has indeed turned down films with all three Khans at some point or the other. The actress had been offered Dangal with Aamir Khan and Sultan with Salman Khan. She declined both the offers, saying the roles weren't substantial enough.
Kangana Is Unlikely To Sign Any Film With The Khans
"With her attitude of absolute comfort regarding the Khans' stardom, Kangana is unlikely to be seen with any of the three Khan superstars,'' said a source.
Salman Is Annoyed With Kangana
He added, ''While Shahrukh and Aamir have not reacted to her war cry for equality in the screenplay, Salman is annoyed with Kangana for having said no to Sultan. Aanand's film with Shah Rukh too has slipped out of Kangana's hands, but ask her if she cares."
SRK Too Was Pissed Off With Kangana
During the rapid fire segment, Karan Johar asked Kangana which Khan - Shahrukh, Salman or Aamir - she wants to work with? To which Kangana Ranaut had replied, "None!" As per rumours, SRK didn't like it.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali Will Not Sign Kangana Now?
According to a web portal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided not to cast Kangana Ranaut in his film, after her controversial statements.
On a related note, when Shahrukh Khan was asked to comment on the same, the superstar gave a very politically correct answer and asked not to believe everything what you read online.
