Aditya Chopra is returning to film direction after seven years with ‘Befikre’ — and he chose his father and veteran film-maker Yash Chopra’s 83rd birth anniversary on September 27, (2015) to make a formal announcement about this project.

The film’s tagline reads – “Those who dare to love”, indicating that love will be a core element in Aditya’s new film.

The movie is all about a carefree Delhi boy Dharam(Ranveer Singh), who travels to Paris in search of work and adventure. As the movie plot develops Dharam happens to meet a unique, wild and free-spirited French born Indian girl Shyra (Vaani Kapoor) who has the same taste as Dharam, and soon they become friends. Later, these two get involved in a casual relationship with a premeditated promise of not falling in love with each other.

The movie posters and trailer indicated that the movie is going to be a hot one for this chilling December. Befikre is written and produced by Aditya Chopra himself, under his Yash Raj Films banner.

Location:

Paris is the main location of Befikre. It took 50 days to complete the shoot.

Soundtrack:

The film's soundtrack was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, while lyrics were penned by Jaideep Sahni.
