Film Bubble Gum written and directed by Sanjivan Lal is a piece of work which does not hold ones notice at the very first go. However, it belongs to the list of those small films that have better story to say as compared to a big-budget flick. Bubble Gum belongs to the list of teen films like Ek Choti Si Love Story, Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Tere Sang, etc that reminds adults and inspires teenagers by telling a lovely childhood love story that includes first crush, sibling rivalry etc. Bubble Gum is all about this.

Bubble Gum is set in Jamshedpur in 1970s/1980s. The film reveals the story of coming of age of Vedant (Delzad), who has a crush on Jenny. The film moves on to show his relationship with his parents (Sachin Khedekar, Tanvi Azmi)and brother Vidur (Sohail). Vedant undergoes a turbulent phase which transforms him and he discovers the true meaning of love and life.
