Multi-starrer movie Happy New Year featuring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is the film trending everywhere now.
With the hit pairing of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone coupled with other stars including Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah, Farah Khan's Happy New Year has been one of the most awaited flicks this year.
After breaking all records with Chennai Express, Shahrukh and Deepika's pairing in Happy New Year, along with SRK's eight-pack abs, will certainly be a pleasure for the fans. Although, the movie Happy New Year's storyline is not anything out of the box, but as they say, 'When King Khan is there, have no fear'.
Mind Blowing movie, Hats off to all actors and director. Super performance by everyone.
Happy New Year is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film has created tremendous buzz online before the release.
Director Farah Khan doesn’t do dark films. Her films are festive and celebrate all things Bollywood — the colour, the feverish dance moves and hyperbolic emotions.
The scene set in Dubai is spectacular. If Khan’s oiled abs are on full display, the scenes against the backdrop of Atlantis, The Palm, the fountains at the Dubai Mall and ice rink among others, are no less gleaming.
Verdict: Watch this if you love Khan and Dubai, and are good with suspending belief for over three hours.
Farah Khan’s magnum opus Happy New Year is built on a foundation of the rock hard and sometimes podgy abs of her star cast. Recurring dialogue from her previous movies, gestures and the ever-looming skyline of the Atlantis that appears over and over and over again, give déjà vu a WHOLE new meaning.
In Happy New Year, like her previous flicks, the best is saved for the last as the entire cast and crew take part in a “Worst Dance Competition” when the credits roll.
Verdict: Happy New Year is worth a watch this festive season.
Happy New Year is an ultimate recipe, which needs to be gulped with immense pleasure.
One thing, which is clear and is quite obvious that had it not been the king of entertainment Shah Rukh Khan, the movie would not have been that easier to standby.
Happy New Year is a Hindi film which is released on 24th October 2014. The movie is directed by Farah Khan whi is best known for her Choreographic work in numerous Bollywood films. This will be the third collaboration of Khan with the director
Farah graduated from being a choreographer to a director, so she’s all about songs and dance. Every mood finds a song, and every expression a dance move. Her ‘Happy New Year’, however, is her weakest dance link, or should we say the “worst” yet. Inexcusable when the story revolves around a “world dance championship”
Verdict: Watch it for Sahrukh Khan
Exactly ten years ago, the famous choreographer Farah Khan made her directorial debut with MAIN HOON NA, a Shah Rukh Khan starrer film that gave a major career boost to many names associated with it. She followed it up with yet another mega blockbuster OM SHANTI OM, again with Shah Rukh Khan.
With mega blockbusters like MAIN HOON NA and OM SHANTI OM behind her, director Farah Khan, by now, seems to know audience's taste when it comes to masala movies. And maybe that's why she makes absolute no mistake while serving the dish called HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Verdict: All in all, HAPPY NEW YEAR is definitely a smash hit film, which has blockbuster written all over it. The film will set new records in the days to come. Go for it!
Verdict - A huge disappointment, especially when you know that Farah Khan is capable of so much more
"Happy New Year" fulfills its promise – delivers an entertaining feat from start to finish. Although predictable in parts, this Farah Khan directorial will for sure steal hearts and earn million smiles.
The robbery, which takes place in The Atlantis, Dubai might come across as a mash-up of every heist film you've ever watched, but Farah does a job of keeping the pace going.
The director for sure knows the craft of churning out a blockbuster well, and has easily delivered this year's best entertainer. Wait till the end of the end credits for Shah Rukh's bundle of joy - AbRam Khan.
