Kashmakash

Kashmakash is Hindi dubbed version of Bengali film, Naukadubi, directed by Rituparno Ghosh. It is a cinematic adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's novel 'Naukadubi'. The director has beautifully presented the novel on celluloid. The film takes the audience to an unknown era, and it's captivating.

Kashmakash deals with delicate relationships. Ramesh (Jishu Sengupta) falls in love with Hemnalini (Raima Sen) but he has to leave her and go back to his village after his father calls him. He ends up marrying the daughter of a hapless widow.

However, an accident takes Ramesh to another strange situation. He comes across a girl named Kamala (Riya Sen), whose husband has gone missing. He tries to find out her hubby and even put up an ad to trace his whereaboput. As fate has it, the girl goes missing and his first love Hemnalini comes too know of his life. Where has Kamala gone?
