Imran Khan who is seen on the silver screen after a huge gap, doesn't do anything different in the movie. It is a typical Imran Khan role that we have seen him enact in all his typical rom-com movies, there is nothing new that he brings to the plate.

Coming to Kangana who has been oozing over-confidence in her media interviews manages to give a decent performance. Unfortunately we do not seen her more on the big screen which disappoints us but she has managed to hold her stand.

Katti Batti will simply bore you! Either you'll spend your time crying over all the sad scenes or the fact that you bought the movie tickets. Katti Batti can be missed, watch at your own risk.

Bollywood rom-coms are about boys and girls, who fall in love, sing and sway to fun songs, and suddenly start bickering about each other’s annoying habits. They abruptly end their ‘happily ever after’ story only to be reunited again for the sake of love.

It’s a standard format, and one that director Nikhil Advani claims to have tweaked cleverly for ‘Katti Batti’.

Let’s just say, we are katti with ‘Katti Batti’ for not living up to the build-up.

There are genuine heartfelt stories and then there are stories convoluted to an extent, because the filmmaker thinks will make it work. Unfortunately, Katti Batti falls into the latter category.

Imran Khan is sincere. Kangana has by now proved that she’s a brilliant actress, but here she seems to be faltering a bit as if she is desperately looking for a firm footing in terms of a convincing character. And then she shines in the last ten minutes of the film, yet again leaving us in no doubt about what she is capable of. In fact, the last ten odd minutes of the film keeps you hooked to the screen. But obviously that is not enough at all.

KATTI BATTI is Nikhil Advani's successive release at the box-office after last week's HERO. Besides directing the film, he has also written the film alongwith Anshul Singhal. With a plot that is supposed to revolve around the matters of the heart, heartaches and heartbreaks, Nikhil fails terribly to hit the right cord.

On the whole, due to its weak script and non-engaging narrative, KATTI BATTI will face 'katti' from the audience at the box-office.
