Harshvardhan Kapoor comes from a filmy background so the expectations from him were high and the newcomer has certainly not disappointed anyone. His acting skills are on full display and he is calm and poised in whatever scenes given to him. He can be aggressive during the fight scenes, he is a total lover boy during the romantic scenes and his dialogue delivery is apt and to the point. Harshvardhan Kapoor is here to stay in Bollywood, and Mirzya is just the starting point of his bright career.

Saiyami Kher stole the show in portraying her role as a modern woman. She has carried the look, attitude and style with ease. Even when the movie shifts to a different time in history, Saiyami was well-blended with the character and has won over the audiences. There's no doubt that Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher are here to stay in Bollywood.

The director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has done a good job in showcasing how humanity is taking a beating with arrogance, money, power and status in the society. The romantic scenes are handled well and so are the fight scenes. If you want to indulge in some thought provoking concepts about love, war, caste divisions and supremacy, all peppered with a lot of romance and conflicts then this film is surely for you.
