Queen Story

Queen movie is about a small-town Indian girl, who decides to go on her honeymoon alone. Rani (Kangana Ranaut) is a 24 year old Punjabi girl staying in Delhi. She is from a very conservative family; her brother escorts her everywhere for her safety. It’s when her wedding gets called off because her fiance gets killed in a car accident (Rajkummar Rao), Rani gets the biggest shock of her life and is totally confused. But instead of crying or lamenting about her current situation, she decides to move on. She goes for her honeymoon alone. The film focuses on Rani growing up as an individual, and her journey of rediscovering her own identity while on her honeymoon alone.

The much talked about movie Queen has it all that can make you convinced to watch this flick which perhaps portrays Kangana's one of the best ever performances till date. Queen is all about a conservative Punjabi girl, Kangana Ranaut as Rani who gets dumped by her fiancé, played by Rajkumar Rao just two days prior to the marriage. Although, the initial part of the film has got some 'not so necessary' sound tracks which perhaps is the only little drawback of the film, the entertaining latter half covers up all other issues and will leave the viewers with only applaud for the director and of course, our bubbly Queen, Kangana Ranaut. So folks...just grab your tickets and be ready to fall in love with the Queen.

QUEEN is about a shy and timid girl who travels to Paris and Amsterdam for her honeymoon all alone, when her beau calls off the wedding at the last minute. A quirky concept, yes. But this coming of age story is indeed enjoyable, despite the hiccups. On the whole, QUEEN reinvents the genre with its non-formulaic screenplay and skilled direction. A charming little film, this one's made with heart and feeling and it shows. Absolutely recommended!
