Aanand has struck the right cord with the way he has directed this movie. It is very difficult to direct a hit sequel to a successful movie but Mr. Rai has managed to do it with much exquisiteness. Some may find the second half of the move a bit dragging but not to worry; Aanand has directed an impeccable movie which will entertain you till the end.

Himanshu Sharma who has written the story deserves a standing ovation for it doesn't seem make believe and is in fact very feasible and believable.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a must watch movie, it surpasses the entertainment value of the original even. Go book your tickets asap.

Aanand. L. Rai helms his role of a director very successfully. There are times when you get a feeling that he has surpassed the original as far as storytelling and film presentation is concerned. It's a very wittily written film and superbly performance oriented film.

On the whole, TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS makes for a must watch, especially for Kangna's spellbinding performance, outstanding plot and amazing one-liners. SURE-SHOT HIT!

Once in a while, an actor overpowers the movie, and Kangana Ranaut does that with this one. It takes a lot of effort to take your eyes off this girl, who dazzles with dual performances, as she plays two dramatically diagonal roles — one as the ebullient, effervescent, free spirited Tanu and the other as the rustic Haryanvi, budding athlete Kusum.

Even though Kangana Ranaut has evidently grown by leaps and bounds in confidence over the five years since she starred in the original, the same can not be said about the sequel.

Kangana Ranaut who plays both Tanu and Kusum nails it totally and it is a complete visual treat to watch her in both the characters. It's hard to get over her even long after leaving the theatre. R Madhavan after a long time gives an act that requires him to be a bit reserved.

The movie has every reason to draw and hold your attention. With a few minor flaws that could have been avoidable, Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a compelling watch. Above all, it's Kangana Ranaut who steals the show yet again.
