acclaim

directorial

Brother
Nikhil,
filmmaker
Onir
is
all
set
to
roll
out
his
latest
offering
Bas
Ek
Pal
this
month.
The
movie,
having
an
ensemble
cast
of
Urmila
Matondkar,
Juhi
Chawla,
Sanjay
Suri,
Jimmy
Shergill
and
Rehan
Engineer,
was
recently
premiered
at
the
8th
Osian
Cinefan
film
festival
and
will
have
a
worldwide
release
on
August
25.
On
the
music
of
the
film
from
which
he
has
high
hopes,
Onir
said
''Bas
Ek
Pal
is
based
on
a
sensitive
theme
of
modern
day
relationships
and
the
songs
are
insync
with
the
theme.
The
movie
has
in
all
five
tracks,
of
which
four
are
used
in
the
backdrop
of
the
movie.
Each
of
the
songs
bring
out
a
new
element
of
the
movie,
to
which
audiences
can
relate.''

music
is
being
promoted
by
industry

Set
in
the
metropolis
of
Mumbai,
the
film
explores
the
complexities
of
modern
urban
relationships
and
is
a
journey
as
each
of
its
character
searches
for
that
ever-elusive
moment
of
happiness,
Onir
added.
