If
you
thought
2006
was
the
year
of
biggies,
think
again!
2007
promises
to
be
equally
big...
Although a clearer picture of 2007 releases will appear only when we step into the new year, a few producers have finalized the release date of their films already. January will begin with three biggies: Tara Rum Pum [Yash Raj], Salaam-E-Ishq [Nikhil Advani] and Fool And Final [Firoz A. Nadiadwala].
February is hectic too, what with Eklavya - The Royal Guard [Vidhu Vinod Chopra], Metro [UTV-Anurag Basu] and Hat Trick [UTV-Milan Luthria] hitting the marquee. UTV will also release Mira Nair's The Namesake in March.
Shree Ashtavinayak will release their first production with Abbas-Mustan, Mr. Fraud, in April. While Sony has officially announced Saawariya [Sanjay Leela Bhansali] in Diwali 2007 [9th November], there's one more biggie that's slated for release in October: Ashutosh Gowariker's Akbar Jodha.
Yes, Gowariker's multi-crore historical Akbar Jodha, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, will begin shooting in November this year and is slated for release on 12th October next year. There's another biggie in December too: UTV's GOAL, directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
