A range of collectable dolls of Bollywood superstars have hit the market and are intriguing young, old and people of every ethnic origin in London. The perfectly sculpted 'Bollywood Legends' range of dolls feature Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in western hip outfits (with an additional Indian outfit) and Kajol and Priyanka Chopra in Indian outfits with Kajol's doll in trademark green and Priyanka's in spicy red.

"It's been a long and emotional journey which involved me taking an idea, developing a concept and investing all I had into it to make it see the light of day, " says Shameen Jivraj who is the creator of the dolls.

"When I saw what Bollywood and its stars meant to people and how crazy they were about them, I thought why they weren't given the opportunity to own something that would essentially allow them to take that magic back into their homes." Shameen took her idea to Alan Munn and Andrew Wood of the Macaws Partnership, two people with invaluable experience and credibility within the world of toys who helped her make the dream a reality.

All four stars have contracted the License to recreate their likeness to Bollywood Legends. They have provided their full support to the programme and have been involved in the process throughout development, from supplying relevant information and guidelines at the outset, to approvals at every stage.

The stars reaction to first seeing their dolls speaks for itself:
Shah Rukh Khan: "Wow! I want to show my kids"
Kajol: "I'm excited. Can I go and show my husband?"
Hrithik Roshan: "Wow! I can't believe you have created this"
Suzanne Roshan: "It makes you look like a hunk!"
Priyanka Chopra: "Does it really look like me? It looks more beautiful than me"

The dolls are available now under the Bollywood Legends name at toy stores in the UK priced £25
