Controversies turns out be pretty beneficial for actor Salman Khan as far his movies are concerned. Though his forthcoming film Jaaneman produced by Sajid Nadiadwala got delayed by the controversy regarding Salman's alleged phone conversations with Aishwarya Rai, it did not deter his and the film's value in the market. The movie has received an offer of Rs 7 crore for theatrical distribution in Mumbai by Nimbus Communications.

According to producer Sajid Nadiadwala, he has received an offer for the film between Rs 7.5 - 8 crores. While talking on the same, he explained that the last high price movie was Rang De Basanti sold for Rs 4.75 crores with prints. Main Hoon Naa was sold for Rs 3.5 crores.

Sajid further explained that though many distributors are keen on the rights of Jaaneman including Ashtavinayak and Raksha Enterprises apart from Nimbus, he has not yet finalized the deal.
