Jackie Shroff to play the role of Sai Baba

Till now we were used to see character artist Sudhir Dalvi play Sai Baba in whatever films that have been made on the deity so far. But now we have a new Sai Baba in Bollywood. Jackie Shroff much against his glamorous image will be seen playing Shirdi's Sai Baba in one of his upcoming films. The film is being made by Deepak Balraj Vij and is titled Ek Dharam Sai Ka. Jackie claims that he himself is a big follower of Sai Baba and very strongly believes in his philosophy. He adds that he agreed to do the film as soon as he got the offer from Balraj.

Jackie Shroff is also playing some exciting roles in his other films. His next release is going to be Sumeet Sehgul's Bhoot Uncle where he plays a lovable, scar faced pirate ghost and Shatrughan Sinha's home production Mera Dil Lekar Dekho. He has also completed a Telugu film called Astram.
