Chandigarh (UNI): Star-struck youngsters grabbed a lifetime chance to meet the handsome and hot John Abraham as the star awarded 70 lucky winners of the Pepsi Diet Consumer Promotion campaign. As the Brand Ambassador, he did play his part by terming Pepsi Diet as the 'Drink for the Young Adults' and defended consumption of this cola product, saying ''adults are mature enough to decide how much to take as excess of anything is bad.'' The girls vied with each other to kiss their heart-throb and even the boys wanted to hug the honcho.
Commenting on Pepsi Diet's consumer initiative, Cola Pepsi Co India Executive Vice President Vipul Prakash (Marketing) said yesterday John Abraham has a great ''aspirational connect'' with the youth and this initiative acts as a great platform to bring the two together. The promotion has been successful in reiterating Pepsi Diet's core values of 'Less than one calorie. Go Play,' he said and added that the Pepsi Diet promotion involved consumers to participate in exciting games such as Golf putting competition, virtual bike racing and test of strength with bullworker.
Consumers also participated in contests by filling the requisite forms and depositing them in drop boxes, available at various locations in three states-Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, he said. The promotion resulted in a total of 70 lucky winners being chosen to meet John Abraham in Chandigarh.
