Toonz Animation appoints Radhakrishnan as Executive Director

Mumbai (UNI): India's leading animation school Toonz Animation Academy has appointed N Radhakrishnan Nair as Executive Director.

The academy is a unit of the Asian School of Film and Media Studies and is backed by Asia's premier animation studio, Toonz Animation India, a release here said yesterday.

Mr Nair has 27 years of experience in areas of general management, business development and administration in IT education domain. Most recently, he was the director of learning leadership foundation, a Delhi-based educational trust.

Previously, he served as vice president (operations) of NIIT, helping the country-wide operations of one of the fast growing business units of the company.

''Surrounding ourselves with people who understand and share our passion for success has helped us achieve our goals,'' said P Jayakumar, CEO Toonz Animation India.

''Mr Nair's career accomplishments and experience in profit centre management and operational aspects of IT education will be of great benefit to the academy,'' he added.
