The latest buzz in the industry is that Shimit Ab Tak Chappan Amin's latest project starring Shahrukh Khan in the lead and produced by Yashraj films has been shelved. A trade magazine even reported the reason being that the basic concept of the film was disapproved by both the director and the super star.

We spoke to Tarun Tripathi from Yashraj films about this. "You know at Yashraj we are quite secretive about our films but as far as I know Shimit is still working on his film and it has not been shelved" is what Tarun had to say. That should set the record straight.

It may be recalled that after Ab Tak Chappan, Shimit Amin's second film was to be the Ram Gopal Varma produced Let's Kill Veerappan but that film was subsequently shelved after the death of the bandit.
