Pande said about his new film that he had signed newcomer Sherlyn Chopra as the female protagonist who has been rechristened as Menaka. Deepshikha, Harsh Chaya also play important roles in the film, he added. Pande plans to release Red Swastik at the end of this year. Speaking about the title, he said it depicts that the heroine is cleansed in blood. Pande said he is planning two more films -- a thriller Don, Biwi Aur Bodyguard and a satirical comedy ''Chaloo Movie''.
Shamir Tandon, who has composed music for the film, said all the films he had done so far like Page 3, and Corporate were non-musical subjects. ''The songs take the story forward,'' he said. When asked about his experience of working with noted Ghazal singer Bhupinder Singh who makes a comeback in playback singing after nearly a decade, Tandon said it has always been a learning experience. ''I have worked with Lataji, Ashaji in Page 3, Manna Dey in a film called Umar. The senior artistes rehearse a lot before giving the final take and spend a lot of time discussing the nuances of playback singing,'' he added.
