The Hindi remake of Tamil super hit Ghajini starring Aamir Khan is not titled Kajri and the producers of the film never intended it to be so. There have been recent media reports referring the film as Kajri as well as that of a legal dispute over the title. The production team of the film seeks to clarify that the film is not called Kajri. As of now the film is unnamed and the creative team of the film is deliberating upon a suitable title for the Hindi remake. The title will be formally communicated when finalized.

"We were surprised how it was assumed that our film is titled Kajri. We don't have a title as of now and we are considering three four options." Says an authorized spokesperson from the production team of the film.

The film is being currently shot in Mumbai and is scheduled to complete its shooting by October. The film is being directed by AR Murugadoss. The Ghajini remake has Tamil actress Asin acting opposite him.
