Amitabh
Bachchan
has
had
an
acting
career
longer
than
most
people
his
age
and
from
among
those
of
his
generation
of
actors.
He
started
out
way
back
in
and
he
is
still
running
hot.
If
recent
reports
are
something
to
go
by,
then
he
doesn't
plan
to
quit
anytime
soon.
But
the
larger
question
here
is
whether
the
Big
B
has,
in
the
process
staying
alive
and
active
in
the
industry
so
long,
lost
his
status
as
a
veteran.
Nowadays
be
it
the
new
Gabbar
Singh,
Jiah
Khan's
lover
in
Nishabd
or
Tabu's
elderly
lover
boy,
he
has
seemed
to
make
a
very
successful
attempt
to
be
hip
and
happening.
While
he
can
be
known
for
the
his
roles
in
Don,
Sholay
and
similar
hit
cult
films,
he
chooses
to
be
known
for
the
films
in
which
he
does
hip
hop
steps,
does
the
funky
dance
moves
and
wears
the
funky
clothes.
He
may
be
a
favourite
among
today's
crowd
-
but
one
thing
is
for
sure
-
while
he
is
a
force
to
reckon
with
he
is
no
more
the
revered
actor,
the
angry
young
man
that
he
is
(or
was)
most
famously
known
to
be.
He
can
be
listed
with
the
young
and
upcoming
actors
and
the
actors
who
are
in
the
40
-
45
age
gap,
if
you
measure
him
by
the
roles
he's
been
playing
of
late.
Well
Big
B,
I
am
sure
your
effort
to
be
young
in
with
this
generation
is
well
appreciated
but
I
prefer
the
angry
young
man
much
better.
