Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group's Reliance Entertainment Sector is fast spreading its wings in the entertainment industry. The latest move is an audio company and Home Video wing under the name of Big Music&Home Entertainment. The company is raring to go and has already acquired a few titles in its first phase.

The company shall takeoff with the music launch of Tamil film Kireedam, starring Ajith and Trisha, on 23rd June. A few days later, on 29th June, Big Music will launch the music of Anubhav Sinha's keenly awaited movie Cash, followed by the music launch of Salman Khan's first international project Marigold on 7th/8th July. Prakash Jha's two films -- Khoya Khoya Chand and Dil Dosti Etc. -- will follow next.

"We're looking at opening offices in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. We intend acquiring the audio and Home Video rights of 10/11 languages' titles in our first phase," Kulmeet Makkar, CEO of the company, informs me. Makkar adds that the company is in talks with other labels to acquire their repertoire.

With corporate entities like Moser Baer and now Anil Ambani in the fray, the Home Video market is only going to get hotter!
