Anu
Malik
lately
seen
at
his
aggressive
best
on
Indian
Idol,
has
been
deliberately
lying
low.
"I've
reached
that
stage
in
my
career
where
I
don't
need
to
constantly
prove
myself.
I
also
had
a
health
scare
recently.
Anything
could've
happened
to
me.
But
I
came
out
of
it
miraculously
unscathed.
Now
I
only
want
to
work
with
the
people
I'm
comfortable
with
and
those
who
are
comfortable
with
me," promises
Anu.
His
first
lunge
into
the
international
arena
is
around
the
corner.
Anu
will
record
a
fusion
Turkish-Hindi
track
with
the
Turkish
singing
sensation
Petek
Dincoz.
The
song
will
be
used
as
an
item
number
in
Apoorva
Lakhia's
Mission
Istanbul.
Anu
and
his
director
will
be
flying
down
to
Istanbul
next
month
to
meet
up
with
rock
musicians.
"I
recorded
the
track
last
week
and
played
it
for
my
director
Apu,
my
producer
Suniel
Shetty,
Zayed
Khan
and
Vivek.
Everyone
freaked
out.
Petek
Dincoz
is
known
as
the
Britney
Spears
of
Turkey.
This
is
the
first
time
I'm
working
with
an
international
musician,
and
that
too
a
superstar
of
the
pop
charts."
The
song
will
be
partly
in
Hindi
and
partly
in
Turkish.
"Sameerji
will
write
the
Hindi
lyrics.
This
will
be
our
first
bonafide
fusion
song,
an
amalgamation
of
Bollywood
and
Turkey," promises
Anu
Malik.
