First promo of Awarapan is out and in one word is STUNNING!

Directed by Mohit Suri, who has hat trick of successes behind him in the form of Zeher, Kalyug and Woh Lamhe, the film comes from the house of VIHESH FILMS and stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

The film captures various shades of Hashmi, which come due to the journey he takes, circumstances he goes through and the people he meets in the way. Playing a role with extremely complex shades, the film is touted to be the most challenging ever for Hashmi.

Mohit Suri, who has excelled in getting very good performances from his actors while enacting sensitive subjects, seems to have yet another hard hitting film up his sleeves which should set the cash registers ringing once the film arrives on June 29th.

Leading ladies in the film are Shreya Saran and Mrinalini Sharma while Ashutosh Rana and Rehan Khan enact other key roles. The film has been extensively shot in Hong Kong and promises yet another path breaking music by Pritam.

The film was in news when launched a few months back due to its extensive budget. As per producer Mukesh Bhatt, Awarapan is their costliest ever with a budget running in the tune of Rs. 18 crores. Now that's indeed huge because majority of Bhatt films in the past have been priced low with a budget ranging between Rs. 3-6 crores.
