Trust
producer-director
Sanjay
Gupta
to
come
up
with
a
novel
way
of
not
just
promoting
his
film
but
also
trying
to
keep
the
city
clean.
Gups,
along
with
Sanjay
Dutt
and
lyricist
Virag
Mishra,
have
modified
the
lyrics
of
the
whimsical
Aye
Ganpat
song
from
Shootout
At
Lokhandwala
in
a
bid
to
promote
a
cleaner,
greener
Mumbai.
So
the
new
lyrics
go
something
like
this:
Aye
Ganpat,
chal
jhadu
laa,
thoda
Mumbai
ka
kachda
saaf
kar
dena
yaar,
thoda
municipality
ko
tight
kar
dena
yaar,
susu
karne
walo
mere
naam
se
sadak
pe
karoge
toh
jaoge
kaam
se!
Social
service
Says
Gupta,
"The
idea
was
conceived
of
by
Virag,
who
has
written
the
lyrics
of
Aye
Ganpat,
chal
daru
laa.
Now
the
song
will
be
used
for
social
service.
Virag's
the
creative
director
of
a
radio
station,
and
they
will
be
playing
it
on
air.
It's
about
keeping
Mumbai
clean
and
the
first
of
its
kind.
Now
that
Shootout
is
a
hit
property,
we
at
White
Feathers
want
to
use
it
for
the
right
purposes."
Virag
adds
that
he
has
written
the
song
along
with
his
colleagues
at
the
radio
station.
"The
name
of
the
exercise
is
Shootout
At
Lokhandwala
-
The
Social
Chapter.
It's
a
social
service
song
and
we've
started
playing
it
from
today.
We're
telling
people
it's
time
you
have
mercy
on
the
poor
city
or
else
Ganpatbhai
will
be
coming
to
bajao
you!
When
celebrities
like
Mika
Singh,
Dia
Mirza
and
Sanjay
Gupta
coming
together
and
say
have
mercy
on
your
city
nahin
toh
baja
dalenge,
I'm
sure
people
will
listen!" he
says.
