The
shooting
a
film
involves
a
lot
of
different
locations,
some
of
them
pretty
weird
too.
Mumbai
is
famous
for
its
'Chor
Bazaar'
and
never
has
any
one
shot
there
before.
The
reason
for
this
is
genuine
too.
Actually,
it
is
difficult
to
shoot
there
as
it
is
an
illegal
market
and
no
shopkeeper
wants
to
bring
his
shop
on
camera.
But,
the
shooting
of
the
movie
'Journey....
Bombay
to
Goa'
began
at
the
very
'illegal'
place.
It
was
an
important
sequence
in
the
film,
as
the
bus
used
in
the
movie
is
from
'Chor
Bazaar'!
Despite
being
such
an
important
part
of
the
film,
the
vehicle
does
not
belong
to
any
company
or
brand
as
it
has
been
assembled
using
parts
bought
from
this
very
'chor'
bazaar
of
Mumbai.
In
the
movie,
the
bus
has
been
custom
designed
by
Vijay
Raj
and
the
front
portion
is
like
that
of
a
kangaroo
and
the
roof
is
German-styled.
Going
by
demand
of
the
story,
the
crew
was
forced
to
shoot
there.
Talking
about
his
experience,
laughter
champion
winner
comedian
Sunil
Pal
had
says,
"It
is
not
easy
to
shoot
in
'Chor
Bazaar',
people
do
not
co
operate
and
are
pretty
reluctant."
The
cast
and
the
crew
were
mentally
prepared
for
any
kind
of
trouble.
But
to
everyone's
surprise
the
shopkeepers
were
extremely
co-operative
with
them
and
lent
their
complete
support.
The
shopkeepers
liked
the
concept
of
the
film
and
did
not
interrupt
the
shoot
at
any
point
of
time.
They
not
only
showered
their
love
and
blessing
on
the
actors,
but
also
gave
then
a
treat!
All
the
actors
were
happy
that
they
got
an
opportunity
to
shoot
at
'Chor
Bazaar'
and
know
the
place
closely.
Sunil
was
so
impressed
by
the
variety
of
things
that
were
available
at
the
place
that
he
even
suggested
to
rename
the
place
as
the
'Thief
Shopping
Mall'!
