New animated look for Howrah Bridge

Ashok Kumar and Madhubala starrer classic Howrah Bridge will be once again pleasing the audience with refreshing animated look. The animated version will be produced by PNC. Recently, black and white classic Naya Daur was re-released in colour and the film did pull the masses to cinema halls again. Now, the animated version of Howrah Bridge will definitely ring the bell. Helen with her charm at peak in 'Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo' and stunning Madhubala in 'Aiye Meherbaan' will refresh the old memories in the hearts of audience.

Attaining the rights of the film is dream come true for Pritish Nandy who always wanted to make animated version of the classic. Thus, the film will be Pritish Nandy's tribute to Mr. Shakti Samant. Also, sharing the same feeling with him is Manny Bains, the chairman of the company taking care of animation part of it promises to bring something which will draw the younger generation to witness the classic like this.

And as far as the loyal old audience is concerned, he assures the classic will strike the same chords which it had 50 years ago.
