Akshay, Shilpa to perform at IIFA

International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) will be held at Yorkshire this year. The grand ceremony that IIFA is every year, this year too it will be a three day function to be held between June 7 - 10.

Every year IIFA sees a host of Bollywood celebrities as well as international film personalities. This year, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty have been finalized to perform at IIFA. Akshay Kumar is currently one of the most successful stars at the Box Office with all his films going hit. Shilpa Shetty is also cashing on her Big Brother popularity and is a big name in UK now.

The interesting part however is that, Akki and Shilpa were a couple for quite a while before Akshay got married to Twinkle Khanna. The two also had a given successful films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Dhadkan together. It will be exciting to see them at IIFA this year as both are also excellent performers on stage.

IIFA will take place on June 9, 2007 at Sheffield, UK.
