It
appears
that
the
good
success
of
Apne
has
worked
wonders
for
another
Sunny
Deol
project,
Kaafila.
The
Amitoj
Mann
(new
spelling!)
directed
film,
dealing
with
the
global
issue
of
illegal
immigration,
has
been
picked
up
by
distributors
across
India
and
at
good
terms.
As
per
the
distribution
sources,
while
E-City
Films
will
release
it
in
Delhi-U.P.,
it
will
be
Zee
Entertainment
Enterprise
Ltd.
which
will
release
Kaafila
in
Bombay
(through
Rajeev
Malhotra)
and
Gujarat&Saurashtra
(through
Vijayraj
Enterprises).
It
may
be
recalled
that
Bollywood's
biggest
blockbuster,
Gadar,
was
produced
by
Zee.
The
much
awaited
Kaafila,
featuring
Sunny
Deol
and
Sana
Nawaz
(from
Pakistan),
is
all
set
to
release
on
August
10,
along
with
Yash
Raj's
Shah
Rukh
Khan
starrer,
Chakde!
India
and
Vishal
Bhardwaj's
Blue
Umbrella.
