With

Kangana
Ranaut
has

The
5-foot

actress
has
now
been
signed
for
a
Tamil
film
Dhaan
Dhaan.
Kangana has been cast in this regional film opposite South's superstar Jayam Ravi. Apparently, she is happy to be doing regional "substantial" cinema rather than archetype Bollywood drama. Director Jeeva, according to her, is one of the highest paid directors in the country. Kangana plays a simple village girl, much like Madhoo's character in Mani Ratnam's Roja. But this is not the only reason she is thrilled about doing Dhaan Dhaan. Reportedly, she has signed the film for a lump-sum of Rs. 75 lakh, a whopping amount for an actor who is merely two films old! If that's not enough, she will also be getting a luxury car as a part of her payment!
Kangana has been in news ever since she bagged the best debutante award at GIFA for her performance in Anurag Kashyap's Gangster. She also won in the same category at the Max Stardust awards on Sunday.
