After Shahrukh Khan and John Abraham, it"s now Kareena Kapoor"s turn to be associated with sports. She will soon perform at the opening ceremony of Kapil Dev"s Indian Cricket League (ICL) in Chandigarh. Bunty Walia"s GS Entertainment and Zee Sports are coordinating the show.

Love cricket

Currently, Kareena is in Delhi. She says, “After Delhi, I will be shooting for Tashan in Hrishikesh and then go to Chandigarh. I will perform on a Jab We Met song.

I have always been a cricket enthusiast and have grown up watching Kapil Dev"s performances. Being a part of the ceremony is an honour. After the performance, I will sit and watch the match. I am excited about it."

Kareena will perform on the songs It"s Rocking and Mauja from Jab We Met. Has she met Kapil Dev? Kareena says, “No, I will meet him on November 30 before the event. Australian cricketer Dean Jones and England"s Tony Greig will also be there."

No problem

After Rohit Shetty"s Golmaal Returns and Sajid Nadiad-wala"s Kambakht Ishq, Kareena is contemplating signing an Ashtavinayak film with John Abraham.

Says a source, “Kareen had a three-film deal with the producers but after the success of Jab We Met they want her to sign a six-film contract which includes this film with John Abraham."

But doesn"t Kareena have a problem with John? “No", denies Kareena and adds, “I have no problem with John. I liked the basic idea and approved it but will hear the detailed script in Goa."
