Konkona Sen's double standards

Konkona Sen Sharma is one of the actresses who seem to not take their pride along with them to the movie sets. Well, she may be such but when it comes her newfound flame the case may not be so. The actress"s recent love affair with actor Ranvir Shorey seems to be becoming a priority in the actress"s life – even when it comes to her work. She was roped in to play the female lead role opposite Irrfan Khan in the small budget film Sankat City. While Irrfan Khan is acclaimed enough to play any serious movie role, she isn"t mature enough it seems.

Irrfan Khan, for reasons best known him, dropped himself out of the project. He was replaced with Aftab Shivdasani. Konkona alternatively suggested her live in boyfriend Ranvir Shorey for the role, a proposal which the filmmakers refused. So she too walked out of the project. Finally the leading pair of the film will be Rimi Sen and Kay Kay Menon. But the Konkona has no problem with acting with Irrfan in another film by Sunny Deol Black Or White.
