That's professionalism for you....

Now
that
Namastey
London
has
released
and
people
have
had
a
positive
opinion
of
the
film,
one
person
who
was
always
confident
of
its
success
was
Kunal
Kohli.
The
director
of
Hum
Tum
and
Fanna
isn't
remotely
connected
to
Namastey
London,
but
he
had
a
strong
feeling
that
the
film
would
end
the
dry
spell
at
the
box-office.
In
an
industry
that's
extremely
competitive,
Kunal
was
highly
impressed
by
Namastey
London
which
he
watched
almost
a
month
before
its
release.
"Rarely
does
one
director
show
his
film
to
his
contemporary.
There's
so
much
professional
jealousy
out
there
that
people
are
compelled
to
guard
their
films
like
a
treasure
chest.
It's
the
norm
in
the
industry.
A
mere
SMS
can
ruin
things
and
jeopardize
prospects.
But
I
admire
Vipul's
courage.
He
showed
me
his
film
almost
a
month
ago
without
bothering
about
the
repercussions.
That's
confidence," Kunal
smiles.
Meanwhile, with positive feedback to Namastey London pouring in from India and abroad, Vipul Shah is having the last laugh. "I am a creative person at heart, not a producer in the true sense. Given a choice, I'd love to direct films only, entrusting the production responsibilities to someone else," Vipul states.
