After
a
long
gap
of
15
years
Nana
Patekar
is
ready
to
direct
his
second
film.
Nana's
first
film
as
a
director
was
Prahaar
in
1991.
It
was
about
an
Army
officer
(played
by
Nana)
who
trains
a
number
of
cadets
and
later
goes
to
help
the
family
of
one
of
the
cadets
who
dies
in
an
encounter.
Now, Nana's second film will be a sensitive love story between a 45-year-old man and a young woman. The man is a loner who avoids any type of relationships because he fears that the woman he gets attached to eventually dies.
While Nana himself will play the role of the lonely man in his forties, he wants Rani Mukherjee to play the young woman who stirs his emotions in the film. Nana reveals that the movie will be a simple, touching love story about meetings between two people for over two-three weeks.
Nana is also confident that Rani will give her nod to the project after she hears the script. Let's wait and see if Nana's optimism will finally be realized.
