Neetu Chandra strives for a cause

Actress Neetu Chandra was in tears during her visit to AIDS affected areas in rural Maharashtra. Chandra was a part of an AIDS rally organized by UNICEF.

Neetu Chandra has been appointed as a youth icon from Maharashtra by UNICEF. She went to Chandrapur along with other volunteers to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS. According to her, Madhur Bhandarkar's Traffic Signal gave her the opportunity to become part of such social projects.

She also informed that apart from UNICEF, Neetu is also the ambassador for the welfare of the girl child in Bihar which is a part of Omaxe Foundation. Neetu gets immense satisfaction in social cause. She is financially supporting two girls in their education aged 9 and 13 years.
