<i>Rang De Basanti</i> - The Only Asian Film in BAFTA

It's big news for Bollywood and all Indians that UTV Motion Pictures Rang De Basanti directed by Rakyesh Mehra has been selected in Oscar Awards entries. It is indeed an honour for the film Rang De Basanti to compete with some of the great international films which are up for the running at the Oscars this year.

This movie is very touching, and aptly touches the hearts of the movie goers tempting them to watch it time and again. The colossal reward the film has received so far is that it has impacted the youth of India and the young generation spread across every corner of the world.

Rang De Basanti is looking forward to the BAFTA Awards where it is the only Asian film to be nominated. Along with it, there will be films like Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, Paul Verhoeven's Black Book, Guillermo Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth and Pedro Almodovar's Volver.
