<i>Risk</i> Press Conference at Fun Republic...

Vishram Sawant's Vinod Khanna and Randeep Hooda starrer, Risk will hit the theaters today. This K Sera Sera's production has witnessed a rocking press conference on 16th January at Some Place Else, Fun Republic (Andheri West, Mumbai). Present at the event were the main star cast of the film (from Vinod Khanna, Randeep Hooda, Seema Biswas, Yashpal Sharma, Makrand Deshpande, Zakir Hussain to Shiv Subhramanium), director Vishram Sawant, Mr. Amar Pinghal (CFO, K Sera Sera) and Mr. Hyder (GM Marketing&Distribution, K Sera Sera). At the dais, music contributors DJ Akbar Sami and Bappi-Tutul also joined the team.

At the press conference, the glimpses of the popular peppy number 'Jawani' and item song 'Hitchki' and the promos from the film were shown. What followed next was the address of Mr. Pinghal and Mr. Vishram Sawant to the media. The cast of the flick also shared their views and experiences of this film to the media people.

The director of this outing, Vishram Sawant said that "If we've taken the risk of stepping in the film industry then Risk had to happen. My movie is a character-based film. It's not a typical Don-Cop movie. It shows different shades of every character. It's a story of an honest cop who's in a fix, as one risk can change his and his family's life. It's a larger than life fiction yet close to reality. It's a complete entertainment movie for family audiences. Randeep and I had conceived it at the time of shooting D. Then I was keen that for the role of Khalid I wanted only Mr. Khanna and there he's in this movie. I'm hoping everybody likes it."

Sharing his views on the movie, Vinod Khanna fed the kitty, "I felt like a newcomer when I faced the camera on the sets of Risk as I was working with a set of very new people, I had never known them or ever worked with. So it was a very great experience. Vishram was very focused and we spent a lot of time to understand and evolve this character Khalid. And the biggest high for any actor is to get lost in the character and that's what happened in Risk with me. It's a great movie and everybody performance is par excellence. I was waiting to comeback to movies with a good role and God sent this script to me. It was a very challenging role as it is a grayish character".

Randeep Hooda uttered his mind, saying, "Risk is fast-paced thriller and being a fiction it is very close to reality. My character of a cop has lot of valuable contribution by Vishram and Mr. Daya Nayak, who helped me understand a cop and his attitude. I 'm sure people will appreciate our efforts."

This rocking event winded up with a grand party where the whole star cast along with the guests enjoyed hugely. The cocktail and the dinner were loved by all present there.
