Salman granted bail, free till October 24

Here is good news for Salman Khan fans. The actor has been granted bail by the Jodhpur bench of Rajasthan High Court today in connection to the Chinkara poaching case. He will be released today after spending in the prison for a week.

The sessions court had last week turned down the actor's plea against the five years jail term meted to him by a lower court for killing Chinkara. However, the High Court has granted bail to the actor. Now, he will be released from the jail on certain conditions including a bail amount of Rs.1 lakh. However, he will have to appear before the court on October 24.

The actor was arrested and imprisoned last week for killing chinkara during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.
