Sanjay DuttOn July 31, cine star Sanjay Dutt was sentenced six years rigorous imprisonment for the illegal possession of a 9mm pistol and an AK-56 rifle. He was lodged in Pune's Yarwada jail. As per the rule, Sanjay has to do all sorts of work that a normal prisoner does. Considering his age, he was given the option to choose gardening, cooking, carpentry or weaving, of which Sanju baba has chosen carpentry. He will be paid for his labour according to the jail slabs.

Sanjay has to undergo such harsh punishment as he was convicted guilty for the 1993 serial blasts case in Mumbai under the Arms Act. His final appeal in the Supreme Court will be on August 10. All the ardent fans of Sanjay Dutt wished his quick release. Sanjay's sister Priya Dutt is making all effort to free her brother. Hope Sanjay's good days return soon.
